Bonds of Oxford Street	330, Oxford St West End London	W1C 1JA	Closed Summer 2005 and has been turned into a tourist shop	Used to sell pipes and rolling tobacco as well as the more elusive brands of cigarettes. A smaller range of cigars is available at the back of the shop.
Covent Garden Whisky Shop	3 Russell Street Covent Garden West End London	WC2B 5JD	Monday & Saturday 11am-6.30pm Tuesday to Friday 11am-7pm Sunday 12.30pm-4.30pm	As the name would imply this shop mainly sells whiskey. However it also does a small selection of well kept cigars.
Alfred Dunhill	48 Jermyn Street London SW1Y 6LX			Although the shop is still open it no longer sells cigars. You need to visit their other store over in Mayfair
Havana House	1c Kensington Church Walk London	W8 4NB	Unfortunately this shop is no longer open (July 2004)	Havana House now have a shop in Windsor
Inderwicks	45 Carnaby Street	W1		England's oldest pipe marker, founded in 1797. In more recent years Inderwicks had a shop on Bear Street which in the 1990s became part of the Bear and Staff pub a range of memorabilia is displayed on the downstairs walls of the pub.
Maxibond Cigars and Accessories	63 Fairfax Road, London	NW6 4EE		Maxibond had a very smart shop in the North of London. They installed their cigar club under the shop just before the smoking ban was introduced. It was reported as being closed by a reader of Aficionado early in 2010.
Monte's Cigar Store (formerly Havana Club)	16 Halkin Arcade, London or 162 Sloane Street	SW1X 8JT	Unfortunately this shop is now closed (July 2004)	There is still a Monte's membership only club. However the focus of the club is no longer on cigars.
Walter Thurgood	161 London Wall City London	EC2M 5QD	This shop closed in 2002	The building that contained this shop was demolished in the autumn of 2006
G Ward of Gresham Street	60 Gresham Street City London	EC2 EC2V 7BB	Closed for Christmas day 2001 and never re-opened
